Judy Mir

Judy Mir has been engaged in the communications field during her career in advertising, public relations and merchandising.  Consulting assignments as a fashion photography stylist and photojournalist in the U.S. and Europe, and merchandising in Asia, began her love of visual images and travel.   Her experience in creating visual presentations has been an important resource for her work in photography and studio arts.

Judy’s art and photographs are in private collections in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Vermont.

A member of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Judy studies oil painting in the MFA Studio Arts Program.  She has taken classes at the deCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA, the Southern Vermont Art Center, and has studied with master Vermont pastelist, Robert Carsten.  Judy is actively involved with the Weston Playhouse, a prominent regional theatre in Weston, Vermont.  Currently she paints and photographs still and rushing waters with dear friends in Grand Cayman and Vermont.
